This roundtable co-presented by PwC will explore how the ranks of underwriting talent thin out and the expectation for speed and ease of quoting and underwriting increases, insurers are looking to automation and digitalization to give them the edge they need. In this roundtable, participants will discuss intelligent document processing to streamline the quoting process, straight-through processing and external data to accelerate issuance, workbenches to increase underwriter productivity, distribution integration, and other efforts at increasing underwriting automation.  Participants will also discuss success stories, challenges, plans to put LLMs into full production in 2024, and other considerations such as the quality and maturity of their data and how to measure ROI.
