Joe is the senior vice president for the NCR Atleos global product portfolio. In this role, Joe is responsible for setting the product strategy for NCR Atleos, directing R&D investments and delivering the product portfolio into the hands of our customers worldwide. Joe and his team spend much of their time liaising with customers around the world to ensure the NCR Atleos portfolio is correctly positioned to both solve business and operational issues for our retail and financial customers worldwide.

Such a position demands involvement in all aspects of the financial and retail industries and as such, Joe spends much of his time following trends in the industries in both technology adoption and in consumer trends and needs to ensure NCR Atleos fulfils its vision to expands access for financial institutions and retailers by shifting transactions to the self-service channel with innovative digital-first technology.

Joe has enjoyed a long tenure at NCR Corporation with a short career change at Cardtronics corporation where he was responsible for the operational aspects of its 80,000 ATMs worldwide. Joe rejoined NCR when the companies merged in 2021. Throughout his career, Joe has been in a number of technical and management positions spanning the disciplines of worldwide customer services, software R&D, program and product management, all since joining NCR as an honours graduate in Computer Science from the University of Strathclyde. When time permits, Joe enjoys photography, scuba diving and adventure trekking. Joe lives just north of Edinburgh in the UK with his wife and 2 children who are both on their higher education journeys.
