Deb heralds from a cybersecurity background in the Air Force. Deb's career was replete with numerous duty stations all over the world. Deb had 10 cyber assignments starting at the at Tinker Air Force Base and retired as the Air Base Group Deputy Commander from Joint Base Lewis McChord, Washington.

After retiring, Deb began working for Central Washington University as a lecturer, teaching a variety of cybersecurity, and digital forensics classes. While Deb continues to teach part-time, she spends most of her time as the senior manager for the Cybersecurity Engineering Team at BECU--Working with a myriad of security tools to protect the network as well as helping the BECU Fraud and Financial Crimes protect the members and their assets.
