Erin Vertin has had a diverse 20 year career in the financial services industry with over 13 years focusing on fraud risk and prevention. She is currently the Head of Fraud Strategy at Morgan Stanley/E*Trade. In this role she leads a talented group of fraud experts and data analysts who develop fraud strategies to deter and detect fraud actors while striking a balance toward a seamless client experience. By her peers in the organization, she is considered an expert in both fraud prevention and strategic leadership. Erin is the BITS Fraud Steering Committee Chair and a member of the Datos Fraud Council and Auriemma. She loves the pace of fraud and the strong collaboration within the community. Erin is passionate about developing female fraud fighters and provides mentorship both in and out of her organization. Erin resides in the Baltimore area and spends her free time traveling with her husband of 20 years and their two boys.
