Authenticating a user in a digital channel is more important than ever. Biometrics offers an easier and more secure way to authenticate a user. Any biometrics implementation needs to take into consideration both internal concerns and user demographics. In addition, not all biometrics are created equally, and it’s important to know the differences in security levels among different types of biometrics. While biometrics are commonly thought of as a form of stepped-up authentication, biometrics can also provide a way to eliminate passwords. This session will explore the current state and future role that biometrics can play in securing financial systems.
