Danny Hamer is the director of Private Wealth Management technology for William Blair. In this role, he is the head of platform for William Blair’s advisors, support staff, and centralized wealth management services. Danny is responsible for driving strategic technology initiatives, overseeing the full lifecycle of new technology and process implementation, and relationship management for technology platform partners.

Before joining William Blair in 2023, Danny spent 13 years at Envestnet in a variety of leadership roles, most notably as the principal director of technical consulting. For close to a decade, Danny has been at the intersection of product strategy, sales, relationship management, and marketing within the fintech industry. He has presented on numerous conference panels, authored thought leadership pieces, and served as a mentor to colleagues and industry peers.

Danny holds a bachelor’s degree in history from Butler University and minored in business administration. He invests time in his community by serving on the Lurie Children’s Innovators Board.
