With 25 years of experience across insurance and Fortune 100 enterprises, Nikolai has held leadership roles at Travelers, MassMutual, CIGNA, Aetna, and KPMG. His work has focused on transforming legacy ecosystems into scalable cloud-based platforms, building modern data foundations, and enabling advanced analytics and AI at enterprise scale.

At SBLI, he is focused on expanding the use of semi-structured and unstructured data to unlock business value — while strengthening governance, data quality, and architectural resilience. He brings a pragmatic perspective on how GenAI and agentic AI can be implemented responsibly within regulated industries such as life insurance.
