Rich brings over 35 years of extensive expertise in the insurance industry, encompassing a wide range of disciplines including Actuarial Science, Underwriting, Claims, Finance, Operations, Environmental Management, MGA Programs, Information Technology, and Data Management.

Before joining Falcon Risk Services, Rich dedicated 28 years at AIG, where he concluded his tenure as the Global Head of Information Management, Governance, and Architecture. In this role, he was responsible for overseeing the global strategy and implementation of information management and governance frameworks. His previous positions at AIG also included Chief Data Officer for AIG Specialty Lines Insurance, AIG-Chartis Head of Common Systems and Strategies, and Chief Operations Officer at AIG Environmental.

Rich is the Chief Information Officer at Falcon Risk Services, where he has acted as the strategic architect of the IT ecosystem. In this role, he has led a comprehensive transformation, constructing a robust technology stack from the ground up. His notable achievements include implementing Policy and Claims Administration Systems, developing Data Management, Governance, and Analytics platforms, and establishing Business Intelligence and Analytics capabilities. Additionally, Rich has overseen the development of a comprehensive Reference Data Management platform, IT Infrastructure, Cybersecurity, Financial/ERP systems, Compliance, and Marketing initiatives, while also laying the groundwork for numerous AI initiatives.

Rich earned his Bachelor of Science in Mathematics, Business, and Statistics from the University at Albany and his MBA in Risk Management and Actuarial Science from Saint John’s University Greenberg School of Risk Management, Insurance, and Actuarial Science (College of Insurance).

He currently serves on the board of directors for the Insurance Data Management Association and is an active member of the Insuretech Committee for the Wholesale Specialty Insurance Association and the CIO Committee for the Council of Insurance Agents and Brokers.
