Dewald Nolte is Chief Product Strategy & Market Engagement Officer at Entersekt. He co-founded Entersekt in 2008, initially serving as Managing Director (MD). Before stepping into his current role in 2026, he served as Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) and then Chief Strategy Officer (CSO).

Dewald has a passion for technology and industries that drive change to help make the world a more secure place. His strategic insights were integral in Entersekt’s launch of its cross-channel Context Aware™ Authentication solution. The market-leading solution helps reduce unnecessary friction and create seamless user experiences, while protecting customers’ data.

In his current role as Chief Product Strategy & Market Engagement Officer, Dewald is responsible for shaping Entersekt’s product strategy around evolving customer and market needs, strengthening engagement with customers and industry stakeholders, and helping solve complex challenges facing financial institutions in a rapidly changing fraud and payments landscape.

A computer engineer by training, Dewald earned a Bachelor of Electrical and Electronic Engineering degree with Computer Science from Stellenbosch University, one of the top research universities in South Africa. He later augmented his degree with an internship at the École Centrale d'Électronique in Paris, and served as junior engineer at Denel Dynamics, a leader in systems technology, where he worked on software design, development, testing, and implementation.
