Jim is a managing director and works with clients and their advisors to help develop trust, tax and estate planning solutions. He co-leads the Firm’s business development strategy team and is a member of the Executive Committee for the U.S. Wealth Management business.

Earlier in his career, Jim was President and Chief Operating Officer of Brown Brothers Harriman Trust Company responsible for all trust, fiduciary and tax activities in the United States, and practiced law for 20 years in CT, NY and FL with the firms of Cummings & Lockwood (Associate), Cadwalader, Wickersham & Taft (Partner and member of the Firm’s Management Committee), and Gunster Yoakley (Partner).

Jim is a Fellow of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel and is board-certified by the Florida Bar in Wills, Trusts and Estates.
