Bob Oros is Chairman and CEO of Hightower, a national wealth management firm that invests in and empowers financial advisory businesses to drive growth and help clients achieve ‘well-th. rebalanced.’ Under Bob’s leadership, Hightower has transformed its business and culture, accelerated acquisitions, expanded services for advisors and achieved consistently strong organic growth. He has over 25 years of strategic and operational experience, with a track record of successfully recruiting, retaining, and supporting advisors.
He previously served as CEO at HD Vest, EVP and Head of the RIA Segment at Fidelity Clearing and Custody and held various leadership roles at LPL Financial and Charles Schwab. Bob is active in the community particularly in areas of mental health and financial literacy/education; he is the Chairman of the board of the Mental Health Association of Greater Chicago, a board member of EEqual (providing advocacy and support to students experiencing homelessness), and an active mentor at his alma mater Central Michigan University, where he sponsors a student managed multi-asset investment portfolio and is on the board of the College of Business Administration.
