Mark is a proven business leader with more than two decades of experience in financial services. He has a track record of delivering significant transformation within data-rich, digitally focused, scale businesses.  Mark is also well-known for building, developing, and leading high-performing teams. 

Mark has successfully built brands and led marketing functions within Barclays; Yorkshire Building Society; a range of new-to-UK fintech start-ups; and then ultimately, Nationwide.  In 2023, Mark moved to a new senior leadership role with Nationwide, where he now leads the Society’s Branch Network team and operations in the North of England, Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland.  Within his two years in role, Mark has stewarded his team and channel through an exciting period of transformation and growth, as a key strategic focus within the World’s largest Building Society.
