Des is a senior leader in financial services in UK and Ireland specialising in transformational change. He is currently leading the deep transformation of a top 10 UK Building Society into a sustainable northern FS brand with a compelling purpose – To create a banking experience that’s kinder to people and planet. Prior to that, Des led the restructure and turnaround of AIB Northern Ireland 2013-18.

He holds an MBA, is a Fellow of the Institute of Banking and is a Chartered Director with IOD.

Des is also a Non-Executive Director of the North Cumbria Integrated Care NHS Trust.
