Dr. Brent Crider is the chief executive and chairman of the board at the Apollo Group. He is a retired senior intelligence officer and leader prior to embarking on his career in financial services and the defense industry. prior to joining Apollo, Brent operated BC Compliance Associates as the founder and managing director. As a dynamic entrepreneur, he has worked with numerous companies to design and implement compliance solutions ranging from start-ups, serving well developed companies in a myriad of capacities including training build, program design, policy & procedures development or enhancements, independent reviews, and a host of other functions. Brent was inspired to help companies to ensure compliance that enables company growth. His work allowed compliance professionals and business leaders to focus on increasing revenue and satisfying board members and shareholders. Brent is inspired to lead and make things better than he found them. He is a strategic thinker, capable of envisioning what actions are necessary to grow a business. He grew up in South Detroit and enjoys the University of Michigan and Detroit Lions football, time with his beautiful wife, and three successful adult children. He is a trusted friend and advisor to peers in the U.S. government, across banking, consulting firms, and an accomplished researcher having earned a Doctorate in Executive Leadership from the University of Charleston.
