Laura McGortey is the Director of Payments and Client Connectivity Product Group within Treasury and Payment Solutions at Synovus. She and her team stay on top of industry trends and needs to define and deliver payment and connectivity solutions for commercial clients, including larger SMBs, middle market, and specialized industry segments.

Laura has a deep background and passion for building solutions that improve client experience in commercial payments, payment modernization, and client connectivity for both domestic and cross-border applications.

She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business from LaRoche University and an MBA from the University of Pittsburgh. Laura also serves as Chair of the Board of Trustees for the Community College of Beaver County (CCBC) Foundation, helping the college support the next generation of students and industry leaders.

Outside of work, Laura enjoys spending time outdoors or in the kitchen with family and friends.
