Kartik Kaushik leads RBC Clear, RBC’s new Cash Management business within RBC Capital Markets.
Prior to joining RBC, Kartik spent 12 years with Citigroup in various roles spanning multiple geographies. His last role at Citi was Head of Digital Lending & Payments for the US Consumer Bank.
Kartik’s tenure at Citigroup includes his roles as CEO Consumer & Commercial Bank for Citi India, Digital Head for Consumer Bank Asia, Global Head of Strategy & Business Development for Transaction Banking Business, & Global Head Credit & Collections Operations for the Global Consumer Bank.
Prior to joining Citi, Kartik was the Global President and Partner of Polaris Software, where he was instrumental in shaping and leading Polaris’ transformation from a low-cost IT services business to a top-tier financial services products and solutions company.
Kartik spent the first decade of his career in consumer marketing, managing India’s top household brands at Hindustan Unilever and Asian Paints. He led Unilever’s thrust into e-services covering e-tailing and consumer research. He was also a founding partner, investor and mentor in an entrepreneurial services venture in India, Dr Smilez, aimed at creating transformation in the oral healthcare segment.
Kartik has served on various boards, including Polaris Software UK, Intellect-SEEC and the enabler board of Swift’s innovation arm, INNOTRIBE. Additionally, he recently joined the American Heart Association's Heart of New York City Executive Leadership Team.
Kartik has a major in Physics from Delhi University, and an MBA in Marketing from Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies, Mumbai.
